Well, last night was the first night of bowling for the Alley Cats. I started my own team on the league this year. I talked my mom and dad into joining, and my mom talked a co-worker of hers into joining. That left us 1 person sort for the 5 person team... doh! Luckily, one of the ladies on another team had a friend she talked into joining up. Woohoo!!! We got 5!
So I didn't do too hot last night. I don't even want to talk about what my series score was. :-( But it should be an interesting year. My momma and papa are being really good sports, and they're even going out and introducing themselves to other league members. Normally I wouldn't mind introducing them, but they're just taking it upon themselves to do it. Yay! They're getting out of the house and being social!
Jim is the 4th member of our team. He's a quiet, kind of shy guy. But I'm almost thinking that we should make him the anchor of our team. He doesn't necessarily have the best bowling form... but he makes it happen and I think he had the highest scores of our team last night. It'll be nice to have him on the team, seems like a really nice guy.
Dulcie is the last member of our team. Don't really know anything about her. She looked like she had a lot of fun last night, and every game her scores went up some. Hey... what more can you ask for?
I'm looking forward to this year’s season. The team I was on last year became the league champs... can my team do it this year? We'll see.

| Do you like bowling with the "cosmic" lights?: | It's ok every now and then to remind me that it's a game... but I'd rather be able to see my marks on the lane. |

| Do you think it's easy to make the 10-pin (7-pin if you're lefthanded)?: | Unfortunately I've been hit or miss on that lately. If I get it in warm-ups, I'll nail it all night. If I miss in warm-ups, I'm screwed all night on the 7. But I like to try for it! |
